Volunteer

If you have time to spare or are wanting to get involved in your community then become a volunteer. This is very rewarding work and you will get to meet new people and make new friends in the Bishopdale area. Get to know your neighbours!

Volunteers can become involved in roles such as:

• Hosts for morning teas and lunches

• Helping at Celebrate Bishopdale! and other community events

• Bread collection and delivery

• Welcomers

• Facilitating a group/activity

• Fundraising activities and events

• Soup making and baking

• Assisting with the community garden

• Presenting a workshop/s

Volunteer thank you lunches

The Bishopdale Community Trust has a lunch each year to honour and thank our volunteers for the excellent work that they do. There is a great atmosphere, friendship, chatter, delicious food and scrumptious deserts!
